Jenny and the Golden honey beeJenny loved flowers, the orange ones were her favourite, it was the middle of summer,
it had been very dry and the roses were suffering at Rose Farm and it seemed that the bees had almost used up the pollen, one day Dave the tree man dropped in for a cup of tea, and he saw the roses drooping he said he knew where there was some beautiful orange sweet flowers, jenny and the Bees heard this and asked if they could visit Dave’s hut out at Tonimbuk and see if they could find them, the very next day, Tony took Jenny and party Bee in his truck out to the hut where they met Rex and Dave, after a cup of tea, they went off and Rex had quietly showed Bee where the orange wild flowers grew, the flowers were amazing, the orange golden colour was so bright, Party bee called her bee friends, they arrives excitedly seeing the rich golden pollen on the bright orange flowers, the sun was warm and soon the air filled with happy buzzing humming with bees.
Rex knew these flowers were special.
They weren’t just beautiful — they made the very best nectar of all.Later that day they all enjoyed another cup of tea and tasted the beautiful golden honey on a slice of bread, it was deliciousDave and Rex said they had a few spare jars for Jenny to take back to Rose farm.Later that day the rain came to Rose farm , the dry earth soaked up the lovely water and the roses came to life again
