Part 1. Yogi the goldfish was feeling a little bit sad. He didn’t know exactly why, but something seemed to be missing. His home was a lovely fishbowl with smooth pebbles, bright green plants, and plenty of space to swim around. It was cosy, and Yogi often hid amongst the plants to explore the nooks and crannies. In one corner of the fishbowl was a mirror, which Yogi liked to swim up to and admire himself. But today, as Yogi gazed into the mirror, something felt different. To his surprise, the image in the mirror didn’t wave back when he did. How strange, Yogi thought. Curious, he swam closer to the glass, and then, just as he was about to touch the mirror, the image disappeared. “Where did it go?” Yogi wondered, swimming around. Then, with a sudden shock, he looked behind the mirror—and oh my goodness! “Boo!” said a voice, and Yogi jumped, startled. There, hiding behind the mirror, was another goldfish, just like him. “It’s me, Joe!” said the little fish, grinning. Yogi blinked in amazement, “Joe!” he exclaimed, “You’re my twin brother! That’s why I’ve been feeling sad. I didn’t even know you were here!” Joe chuckled and waved at him. “Of course! I’ve been hiding right here, just waiting for the right moment to surprise you.” Yogi felt happy, realising that all he needed was his twin brother beside him. They spent the rest of the day swimming in circles, playing hide-and-seek among the plants, and laughing loudly, aware that their friendship was the greatest treasure of all. Part 2. Yogi and Joe were playing nicely They loved hiding from each other and then scooting out saying boo One day, they heard that they were getting a new sister How exciting, a new friend to play hide and seek with The day had arrived, and Miss Janey was so cute. Both Yogi and Joe were so happy and couldn’t wait to play with her Remember, boys, she is only little but will grow up fast, and she will be a fast swimmer, so watch out She will be great at hiding, too Have fun, Yogi and Joe (Welcome to Miss Marlo Jean)
