Henry had just finished helping with the wood chips when he heard a little noise. ‘Help,’ it said. Henry looked at the wood chips, then he saw a little chip. He said, ‘Hello, what’s your name?’ The little chip said, ‘My name is Woody Woodchip.’ Henry said, ‘Why do you need help?’ Woody said, ‘Once I was a tree, and so were my millions of friends; we were all trees. We stood tall and grew up towards the sky.’ Henry thought about Dave the tree man’s tree planting policy: ‘Cut one down and plant two in its place.’ Woody said, ‘Well, we have our place in life. We become composted. Our wood chips turn into a rich, nutritious, organic growing medium for gardens. We are an essential addition to any compost pile because they are a great source of carbon. Furthermore, we are coarse textured and prevent the pile from compacting. We have so many uses and one day we will help a tree grow again.’ Henry thought about all this with interest. ‘Can I save you, Woody, and you can live in the suitcase with Betty the Teddy?’ Woody gave this one big thought. ‘How would life be living with a teddy?’ He looked up at Henry. ‘Yes, let’s visit Betty and we can live happily together.’ ‘But does she play Uno? I have heard that’s a very good game.’ Henry was glad to help woody but he was gladder the wood chip pile was gone and his work was done,

Love always Henry ♥️
