We will remember Dorothy not only for the music she shared, but also for her cheeky grin, her warm heart and the friendships she nurtured over so many years. She leaves behind a legacy of song, laughter and community spirit that will continue to echo through Bunyip for generations to come Every Monday at 9.30 am the Bunyip Hall would come alive as Dorothy welcomed everyone for choir practice. Before long, beautiful voices would fill the hall, then drift out along Main Street. Under Dorothy’s guidance, the choir performed at local aged care homes, eisteddfods, ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day services, Christmas celebrations and many other community events. Dorothy had a wonderful gift for bringing people together. She encouraged every voice, made everyone feel welcome and helped create memories that will stay with us forever.The songs may have ended, but the echoes remain.Rest peacefully dear Dorothy 🎵🌹
