Henry the Bunyip had heard about a bloke who loved trees. Henry and his friends liked trees very much too; they are important to him and his friends, especially Kylie the koala, Xena the magpie, William the wallaby, and especially Angus the Scottie and Bob the dog.
That bloke was David. Now, David knew a lot about trees, because he had lived on a farm where trees had been cleared so that the farm could be used for sheep.
David had worked in the forest cutting down and thinning the small trees for pulp. Henry heard that David had planted trees on his new properties, and over time, he had planted hundreds and hundreds of them. The tree policy: planting two times what you cut down was definitely in use.
David was known as the man who loved trees.
Thank you, David, Henry the Bunyip and his friends love you!
