Our love to Cherie and her family💕
Losing a much-loved pet is hard.
Bob the dog sadly passed away on Wednesday, aged 14 years and 2 months old. Bob was a gentle giant with a kind heart and a love for everyone he met. He loved his food and spending time with his best mate, Trev, the little Maltese Shih Tzu cross. Together, they played, explored the backyard of 20 Pearson Street, and lay under the shady trees, chewing on a tasty bone and planning fun adventures before Trev crossed over to puppy heaven.
On early chilly mornings in Winter another friend , Patrick Possum would perch high in the trees , chuckling to himself. Bob never worried him one little bit; that was simply part of the gentle friendship they shared. Bob never needed to bark loudly to be noticed; his gentle nature spoke for him. Even little Ned, the black bird, trusted Bob enough to hop near his bowl and share the leftovers from dinner. Bob never minded one little bit. Xena, the magpie, was one of Bob’s dear friends, too, and she misses him very much. Yet, there is comfort in believing that Jazzie now has Bob safely in her keeping in heaven. Jazzie, who lovingly drew Bob for Henry’s A to Z book, would surely have been waiting with open arms and a smile for her old friend. Betty loved Bob deeply, and Bob loved her right back with the quiet loyalty that only a faithful dog can give. His devotion, gentle eyes, and loving companionship will never be forgotten. Perhaps, somewhere beyond the clouds, Trev came running to greet Bob once more, tails wagging together again, while little Ned watches quietly from a nearby branch. Thank you, loyal Bob. Your love, friendship, and gentle spirit will remain with your family forever.#bobthedog#lovealwayshenry♥️#storybydaffy✍️#pic#orignallybyjazzie💚
